Sahar Momand

Drawing on her experience in the nonprofit sector, Sahar is driven by creating meaningful and lasting impact. In her role at PFS, she does this through supporting a smooth and efficient grant making process, for both nonprofit organizations and her foundation clients.

Before joining PFS in October 2018, Sahar was an AmeriCorps Program Manager at Playworks, an education nonprofit focused on safe and healthy play. In that role, she oversaw staff training, grant application and implementation, and program development for Playworks’ AmeriCorps programs. Sahar was also an AmeriCorps member at Girls Inc. of Lynn, MA where she was a college access and mentoring coordinator.

Sahar holds a BA degree in international relations from Mills College and a MS in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University. Sahar grew up in Southern California and enjoys taking weekend trips down to visit her family. She also enjoys exploring Bay Area restaurants, trying out new recipes, and going on local hikes.
