Aja Walter

Aja joined PFS as a Grants Manager in the fall of 2023. She enjoys serving as the bridge between foundations and nonprofits, finding inspiration in their shared mission to effect meaningful change.

Prior to joining PFS, she supported the philanthropic operations of Sonoma Land Trust, an environmental nonprofit, and was a grant writer for a social services agency in San Diego County. Drawing from this experience, she approaches her work at PFS with empathy and an understanding of the challenges faced by nonprofits.

Aja graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in public policy. Outside of work, she is a political news junkie and lover of ridiculous reality television shows. She enjoys reading, working with needle and thread, and enjoying the natural beauty of Northern California.
